The Bukhara

Collection

Bukhara is an ancient city in Uzbekistan, where our favourite tribal patterns hail. It was a prominent stop on the Silk Road trade route between the East and the West.

Steeped in history it’s home to well-preserved mosques, madrassas, bazaars and caravanserais, dating back to the 6th century.

This design, inspired by a hand stitched suzani crafted by the women of Uzbekistan for a bridal trousseau, is printed on a sumptuous twill linen suitable for slip covers, curtaining and upholstery.
